Are Extra drivers, Spectators and Passengers allowed at events?Yes, Extra drivers, Spectators and passengers are allowed. All Drivers and Passengers will need to register with GTF Race Cars. Prices for extra drivers and passengers should be shown on the booking page. |
What is the minimum age to be able to attend or spectate at an Event?All passengers must be 16 years old as a minimum. No under 16s are allowed in the pit lane or on the pit wall at any event. |
What type of licence do I need to bring?All drivers must have a Full DVLA road driving licence, or the equivalent in the drivers country of residence. For Test Days, a driver must also have, an MSA or FIA current Race licence AND a current DVLA road driving licence. |
What are the noise limits for track events?Each noise limit is shown on the Booking page for each event. Usually you can get your car tested for free at any GTF Race Cars event, please contact us to arrange this. |
Is my vehicle allowed on a GTF Race Cars event?Your vehicle should be acceptable to take part in a trackday if it meets the standard normal road safety regulations. If you have a specific Race or track vehicle then it must be in a road-worthy condition to participate in the event. Although GTF Race Cars do not scrutineer, we reserve the right to refuse entry to any vehicle deemed unsafe or unsuitable. A fixed fire extinguisher, type AFFF is recommended, and in the case of Test days, these are minimum standards. Please note when booking Test days, please refer to your MSA Blue book to check your clothing and vehicle complies with the regulations for a TEST day. All Vehicles must meet the noise regulations of each venue. |
What do I need to bring to an event?You will need to bring along, your driving licence (if your driving licence has been lost or you will be unable to bring it along, please contact us before booking). |
Does my road car insurance cover me on Track events?Generally your Road policy doesnt include driving on circuit so please check with your insurers. |
Do I need special car insurance?Car insurance for events is a personal choice. By driving your car on circuit, you do so at your own risk. As it is unlikely your normal car insurance will cover you for a circuit event, please contact us for more information and quotes for your car insurance. |

Can Beginners attend?Yes, Beginners are more than welcome to a GTF Race Cars event, we can provide you with professional Tuition to assist you through your day, please contact us for more information. Please note, GTF Race Cars is not a training company therefore will only provide suggestions and tips overviewed by professional ARDS instructors. |
Do I need to bring fuel?There is usually fuel available on site at some venues. Generally if fuel isnt available on site, there is a near by Petrol Station which our staff can easily give you directions to. |
What if I need to cancel?If you need to cancel, please contact the GTF Race Cars team as soon as possible and we will endeavor to reschedule your booking. |
